Social Media Livestream Intern

Lost Tribe is seeking a Social Media Livestream Intern to support and enhance Lost Tribe’s livestreaming presence. This role involves contributing to the planning, execution, and moderation of social media livestreams, primarily on TikTok and Instagram, for both weekly and major events.

Compensation: $250/month

Work Hours: Up to 20 hours/month


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support: Participate in developing livestreaming strategies to increase engagement and reach on social media platforms.

  • Planning: Assist in the creative planning and technical setup of livestreams, including content development and scheduling.

  • Execution: Support the Livestream team in the production and execution of both major events and weekly streams.

  • Moderation: Assist with chat moderation on all live streams to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.

  • Collaboration: Shadow and assist the Director of Livestreams in meetings and during streams.

  • Communication: Participate in creative team meetings and provide input on livestream content and strategy.

  • Community Engagement: Be an active member of the Lost Tribe Discord community, interacting with staff and community members.


Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of livestream platforms and technologies, specifically on social media platforms.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated passion for livestreaming and the Jewish community.

  • Experience in creating and editing video content is an asset
