Lost Tribe Organizational Values

JEWISH AND PROUD

We are grounded in Jewish values, openly celebrate Jewish pride, and embrace Israel and Israelis as core to our community. We attract young Jews from all over the world and with every kind of Jewish identity, and pursue clear Jewish outcomes with intentionality.

COOL NOT CRINGE

We love what we do, and the fun we have doing it is contagious. Our activities and content are relevant and high quality because teens are here by choice, choose us out of a crowded marketplace, and vote with their feet. We earn engagement every day.

INNOVATION IN ACTION

We anticipate a rapidly-changing world and remove barriers to constantly try new things. Embracing curiosity and driven by data, we challenge the status quo.

CELEBRATE AUTHENTICITY AND INDIVIDUALITY

We value each team and community member’s unique traits, and create spaces where individuals can feel safe and comfortable to be themselves. We believe everyone’s particular contributions strengthen our relationships to each other and to our work.

INTERGENERATIONAL TRUST

Success in an evolving world needs the strengths of every generation working together to meet new challenges with authenticity, energy, and insight. At Lost Tribe, we thrive when we hear each other and make decisions with trust and mutual respect.

Are you a passionate Jewish educator with a knack for innovation? Do you believe in the power of engaging, experiential learning? We're looking for a dynamic Jewish Educator to join our team in a part-time independent contractor role to promote and evaluate our new immersive video game, Herod's Masada.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge technology with Jewish education. You'll work directly with educators and leading Jewish educational organizations to bring this exciting game into classrooms, gather valuable feedback, and help shape the future of Jewish learning through Jewish- and Israel-themed gaming.

Project Overview:

Herod's Masada is a captivating Fortnite-based video game rooted in Jewish and Israeli history, designed to immerse students in a pivotal moment in time. Along with a comprehensive teacher's guide, the game provides a unique platform for educators to lead discussions on Jewish identity, Israel, and core values such as leadership, all based on students' in-game experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote Herod's Masada: Actively introduce and promote the Herod's Masada video game and its accompanying teacher's guide to Jewish educators.

  • Partner Engagement: Collaborate with key Jewish educational organizations such as The Jewish Education Project, M2: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education and Prizmah to introduce the game to their staff and networks of educators.

Social Media Intern Application

Stipend: $250/month for up to 20 hours of work/month

Who we are:

Lost Tribe is a media brand and creative collective for Jewish Gen Z and Alpha. We exist where content, culture, and community collide — from Discord to Shabbat and TikTok to Tel Aviv.

Who you are:

You live online. TikTok, Reels, memes, trends — it’s your second language. You’ve got opinions on everything from the algorithm to the latest pop culture moment, and your friends probably ask you what’s trending. You know when to be funny, when to be real, and when to post at 3:17 PM.

You’re just as comfortable brainstorming a trend idea or clipping content as you are hopping in front of the camera if needed. Whether you’re filming a skit, narrating a POV, or stitching a viral moment with a Jewish twist, you know how to bring a vibe.

This internship is perfect for someone who:

  • Scrolls with purpose (you see the matrix)

  • Gets TikTok/IG trends instantly — and knows how to ride the wave

  • Has a natural sense of humor and voice that speaks to our audience

  • Can write short, punchy captions and scripts

  • Knows their way around CapCut, Canva, or other creator tools

  • Can take initiative, pitch bold ideas, and help us move fast

  • Is down to be behind the camera — or in front of it if the idea’s right

  • Feels connected to Jewish identity, culture, or community (even loosely)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Pitching and creating TikToks, Reels, Shorts, memes, and reactive content

  • Jumping on trends with a Jewish spin or community-first POV

  • Clipping from podcasts, livestreams, and Discord moments

  • Helping define our social voice and visual language

  • Possibly starring in or voicing content (optional, but ideal)
